Millions in coal royalties have been promised to the Hunter to future-proof our region. In late 2021 Hunter Renewal and the Hunter Jobs Alliance ran a series of workshops and an online survey for Hunter residents to discuss and decide how these funds can be spent wisely, informed by local knowledge and tailored to our unique conditions.
