Thankyou for signing up to volunteer with the Hunter Renewal team. The Hunter Renewal project  is hosted by Lock the Gate Alliance in partnership with community groups across the Hunter. Volunteers will need to sign up to Lock the Gate’s volunteer agreement.

The mission of the Lock The Gate Alliance is to protect Australia’s natural, cultural and agricultural resources from inappropriate mining and to educate and empower all Australians to demand sustainable solutions to food and energy production.

The vision of Hunter Renewal is to move beyond our reliance on coal mining and thrive with new sustainable industries and jobs that protect our natural resources, ensuring prosperity and a healthy environment for generations to come.

The Alliance is committed to non-violence and has adopted a code of peaceful and responsible behaviour. Lock the Gate Alliance welcomes volunteers who share our mission and code of non-violence.
